one square meter is a slow fashion brand founded in 2016. in our atelier system, which we have built on producing only made-to-order and as much as needed, we have transformed the models we have designed with quality fabrics and good craftsmanship into clothes that will be loved and worn for years. we have adopted ethical working conditions and prioritized women's employment within our atelier. as a slow fashion brand, we advocate that clothing should have a place that glorifies human, nature and self.

ONE SQUARE METER PATTERNS was shaped by our dedication to versatility in clothing, continuity in design, and simplicity in sustainability. for nearly a decade, we have been sewing and dressing clothes into easy-to-assemble and easy-to-sew patterns. we wanted to show how the pieces come together; we thought it would be enough to convey a process that is actually very easy, with a sincerity as if we were side by side, rather than putting it into technical words. our patterns can now come to life again and again, even with very little sewing knowledge, maybe with a little practice; with the desired fabric, in the desired length. maybe they will wave to someone who has never sewn before and open the door to new worlds for that someone.

the road has now brought us here. now it is time to pass on all the knowledge and skills we have acquired along our journey in a different form and with different media. you are the most valuable companion of this journey. you are that person who enjoys sewing her own clothes and talks about it with excitement when the conversation turns.
